History

Formed in 1993, Beaverwood Football Club has evolved into a well run, well respected club, playing good quality amateur football in the South London Football Alliance. From our lowly beginnings as a one team club struggling to get a team out in division 4 every Saturday, we have turned that into two teams, 1st and Reserves, playing in divisions 1 and 4 respectively.

The club began life as a reserve side of a now defunct team which folded at the end of 1992/93 season. The reserve team manager at the time put a proposal to the players to form a new club, it was accepted and in the summer of 1993 Beaverwood FC was born. The players of the time donated enough money to get the club off the ground and the rest, as they say, is history...
